All To Him I Owe

Happy Happy Easter Sunday!

I had every intention of writing really great blog posts this Holy Week. Really, I did.

But as it always does, life kind of got in the way of my good intentions. And suddenly it was Easter Sunday and I still hadn't written an Easter blog.

I had so much to say this week. In this season of reflection on my Lord and the sacrifice he made for me, for us. There is so much on my heart that I wanted to share.

Unfortunately, I find myself completely mentally exhausted on this Easter Sunday and I can't even find the energy to write a thoughtful sentence. Instead, I shall share these song lyrics.

They say it all anyway. The story of how in His death, Jesus paid debts that weren't even His to pay. I am overwhelmed by this kind of love. And this kind of sacrifice. The ultimate sacrifice in death, overcome in resurrection. He died, and now He lives. All so that we could be redeemed. That's crazy love.

I hear the Savior say
Thy strength indeed is small
Child of weakness watch and pray
Find in me thine all in all

Jesus paid it all
All to him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow

Lord now indeed I find
Thy power and thine alone
Can change the lepers spots
And melt the heart of stone

Jesus paid it all
All to him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow

And when before the throne
I stand in him complete
Jesus died my soul to save
My lips shall still repeat

Jesus paid it all
All to him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow

Oh praise the one who paid my debts
And raised this life up from the dead.

"As for me, I know that my redeemer lives,
And at the last, He will take His stand upon the earth."
~Job 19:25
